Dr Datto had the privelege to have a private meeting with the owner of the Trackside Restaurant in Gosford (Central Coast NSW) also during that private interview he was allowed a personal invitation to take any photos he liked of the vehicles which are on display (and allowed to open bonnets and boot lids to take these photos) which normally customers of the restaurant are not allowed to even touch the vehicles. To view Dr Datto's exclusive detailed photos of these vehicles go to "Doc's Pics" page (156 photos in events) Most of Dr Datto's photos are of the following car:-
Group "C" Nissan Bluebird #55 - The Bluebird was built and raced by the Nissan Motor Company during 1983-1984. Driven by George Fury, the car contested 11 rounds of the Touring Car Championship during 1983-1984 including 2 James Hardie 1000 Bathurst Enduros. The car made history when George Fury qualified for pole position at the 1984 James Hardie 1000, setting a track record of 2 minutes 13.85 seconds. This record remained for seven years and was finally broken in 1991. The car was restored by Gibson Motorsport with help from Mark Skaife, Glenn Seton and Graham (Jackie) Stewart.

Dear Datto Gods,
I am writing to you to let you know how pleased I am with my car package that you guys built for me. The thought of what you guys done in such a short time for me is astounding, I asked you to replace my whole driveline, my suspension package and my braking system amongst other modifications. These were finished in time for me to enter the datsun/nissan nationals. Although I can say that congratulations on taking out the best 1200 with Adams great little ute. Impressed would be an understatement if I could explain how well balanced you have built my car, I can only say that if anyone i know wants a quality car built/repaired/modified etc (not just a datsun) I will be more than glad to point them in your direction. I have witnessed the dattocation (yep thats right) that your whole staff have and have never come across a business more willing to please their customers. Thankyou all at Dr Datto and look foward to doing further business with you.
